Featherdale

We went to Featherdale Wildlife Park a few weeks ago. We had heard it was a cool place, but it exceeded our high expectations. It had many native Australian animals, and the kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and emus were just there in a petting zoo type of environment. Talk about up close and personal. You could even feed them. This place was awesome.

Soren was by far our bravest when it came to touching the animals. Burke and Will had to stand outside the enclosure for quite a while. It wasn't until after we had gone to see all of the other animals and then came back to the kangaroos and wallabies that Burke and Will decided to go in and pet the animals.

Our friends from the US, Kasey and Jenni Walker, were here visiting, and came with us that day. Our boys couldn't leave their daughter Rachel alone. They were all in love!

I'll touch it!

See Mom, I'm touching it! I'm brave!

Check out his biting his lower lip again!
