The weather today is absolutely beautiful. It's only 46 degrees outside, but after a long winter and on a nearly cloudless, sunny day, 46 degrees is heaven. I have been outside with the boys all day. I've been a little productive...got some windows cleaned on the outside, and I did a little weeding. But mostly, I have just enjoyed basking in the sun. It's even staying light outside until about 7 pm, now. And when we go on daylight savings time in a couple of weeks, it will be light until 8 pm. I am so glad spring is here! Spring and summer are why people live in Copenhagen.
Highlights of the day:
*Teaching William how to play tag
*2 person "Mother May I?" (Burke lasted about 30 seconds with us)
*Watching William try to do scissor steps while playing "Mother May I?" ( I should get a video of this one--it's hilarious. He puts his knees together and tries to walk--he ends up going sideways)
*playing frisbee with the boys
*Sitting on a blanket holding my baby in my lap
*My three boys with their baseball caps on
*Burke's hugs around my legs when he would catch me while playing tag
*Looking at the flowers that have bloomed and at the buds that will bloom and thinking that in a month, our yard will look like this:

How fantastic! I know what you mean about being couped up inside all winter. Tyler is acting like he's never been outside before.
Let's all hope that spring is here to stay!
Amy, I could just picture the day and from my vantage point -59 years down the road of life - those days are the most productive. The kids are happy, You are happy and you get as much done as when you are all couped up in the house and recleaning the same things over and over. We so miss you and miss the chance to see the boys doing the adorable things they do...
Amy, this made my day! love you guys. You are just such a great mom, wife and sister in law!
I just can't get over those flowers. They are so beautiful. I hope one day we have a house that we can do some beautiful landscaping like this. Thanks for posting them.
How beautiful!
When Spring hits in a cold weather place you feel like you have come alive again just like the flowers. I always just kind of tingled inside for about two weeks after all of the cold and snow. We sure miss you guys and we are so jealous of mom and dad and Aaron and Melissa. I hope you guys have a fantastic time.
Sounds great! Thats what we spend most of our days doing as well. it's great!
