I was a little sad to know that the smiling benchmark was coming up because it meant my newborn was going to be an infant instead of a newborn...but then he smiled, and I wouldn't ever go back! It makes me so happy to see this smile all day.

Man, you guys, he is SO cute. I know what you mean about being sad about growing out of stages, but what a precious smile!
He IS so cute!! I LOVE getting on your blog and seeing all these new posts. I just completed an all nighter to finish up a paper and this really brightened my day. The pic of Burke in the girl pjs cracks me up! And I love the snow man, and the kids w/ Grandma P! Miss you guys.
If only I could reach through this computer and love on that baby!!!
I am so jealous of Grandma P getting to hold baby Soren, and read to and play with those adorable boys!
