Merry Christmas from the Bennions!
New Christmas PJs from Grandma and Grandpa Bennion. When Will put them on he shouted, "These look so cool!" We agree.
We made a traditional Christmas dinner. This is the flaeskesteg (pronounced fleskuh-sty). It is basically a pork roast with the skin still on. You rub in a lot of butter and salt and the skin bubbles and gets really crunchy. Mmmm. We also had red cabbage, caramelized potatoes, amazing gravy, boiled potatoes, veggies and a Danish rice pudding dessert.

Merry Christmas! We miss you guys, when can we skype?!
You guys seem to be having such a great time. And your boys are adorable. I love hearing about the food and the traditions - how awesome for your kids to have this experience. Brooke Warner and her husband are moving to Vienna sometime soon, how close is that to you guys?
Oh Amy! I miss you guys! I'm so glad you are having this experience. It's priceless. What a special time. You are truly treasuring it and I know they love you guys over there. Isn't it so sad about Bishop Barney? I have been a wreck about it this week.
We laughed and were thinking of you guys and used Don's statement this Christmas when he said "If you wanna light money on fire, then hey, let's go light some money on fire!" Thanks for keeping that blog updated.
Love you guys! Your kids are darling!
Hi Amy! Of course you can add my link to your blog - anything to keep in touch! :) Looks like your Christmas was fun! Celine Dion is AMAZING! Her voice is just incredible, and she is so well trained. She sings effortlessly, and I just can't say enough good things about her. If you ever get a chance, you should see her FOR SURE! Glad things are going well for you, congrats on the new edition to your family :)
what a beautiful family you have! I love those pjs! Neat dinner, too.
Where have I been for all of these posts?
-I miss these little boys.
-How was your first (and last?) Danish Christmas?
-Sounds like it was yummy!
-Amy your hair is SO-O long, I am jealous!
-When are you coming to the states?
-The second picture of Burke is killing me.
Hi! I'm so glad you found me! You guys look like you're doing great and how fun to be spending time overseas! That's something I hope to be able to do w/ my (future) family :).
ps, do you mind taking my last name off? i'm trying to keep myself ungoogleable :). thanks!
xoxo
It so good to log on this morning and see your comment on my blog. It gave me a chance to catch up on your family. Congrats on another little boy. Love the name. Your boys are seriously so cute. It looks like you are surrounded by so many wonderful people there. We miss you guys and I will continue to check up on your through your blog.
Amy! I'm so glad you found us! I love your blog and will check it often. I love blogging, its been so good for Jack and I to see how all our nieces and nephews and families are doing while we're all so far apart...some very far! Your boys are very cute! Last we saw you, there were only two.
My chili recipe is one of those that I do without a recipe but turns out good every time! xoxo
