Several people had told us about Ludolf's Ice Cream and how popular it was and how big the ice cream cones were. Our neighbors, the Leits, took us with them one night so we could try it out. They had five different sizes, I think, so I thought I'd get a medium. I was waiting outside with Burke while Don got our ice creams. He came out with what I thought must be the biggest size for me, but it really was only the medium. I think I got a three scoop. But what that entails is a huge cone, filled with three big scoops of your choice of flavored ice cream, topped with a flodeboller (a double sized marshmallow covered with chocolate) and covered with a ton of vanilla soft ice. I couldn't believe how big mine was. After Don saw them make mine, he opted to go with a smaller size. The picture below is William with Matthias Leit, who bravely got the largest size possible. I don't think he finished it. I didn't even finish mine. It was fun.
The next two pictures are so typical William. He goes to our room for his nap time so he won't keep Burke awake in their room. Sometimes Will just has quiet time and plays with toys. When that happens, we usually see something like this picture below. All his toys, in this case bath toys, lined up perfectly. These are even color coordinated. Where did he get this? His latest thing is to put all four white pillow in a cirlce and nap right in the center of the circle. I think it's so cute. Yes, he still sucks his thumb when he is sleeping.
Just thought this was a cute picture, with a tomato-soup mouth.

grace does the lining up thing too, she usually does it by size. i don't know if it's developmental, or early-onset OCD. :)
seriously, i can't get enough of them. love the posts! and i love the pic of will in the middle of the pillows.
