We went to Balboa Island for a week with Don's family in June. We spent one day at Disneyland, and the rest of the days at the beach, right out the front door. It was an ideal vacation. Family, Disneyland, beach...it doesn't get much better.

I was a bad mom and passed up the lines to meet Mickey and Goofy, but we did meet and get pictures with Tigger and Buzz Lightyear. From the look on William's face in this picture, maybe I actually would have been disappointed to wait in the line for so long and have William so un-enthusiastic about it! He loves remembering that he met Tigger and Buzz, he just was nervous to be that close, I guess.

You have had one fantastic summer! I am hardly jealous at all. Our travels have included the all too famous Higley, Arizona, Gilbert, Arizona and even Queen Creek, Arizona. We did get to get away to Greer, Arizona where we enjoyed beautiful weather and fabulous thunderstorms. It was fun to see your pictures and dream about the some day. We loved having you here and can't wait to see you again.

oh fun! we want to do Disneyland in the fall sometime. LOVE the shot of Richard and Linda in the rocket ride-- that is priceless, especially the bemused look on Richard's face! how great!
