Yesterday I was so excited because it was sunny and warm outside and I thought, great, I can finally take my kids out and play at a park or something. We went out and though the boys stayed in jackets and hats, we played for a couple of hours and had a great time, no complaints from me or the boys about the temperature. I thought the weather must have taken a huge jump up in degrees because it felt so good outside. So I get home and checked the current temperature...45 degrees. I don't know what happened to the Arizona blood inside of me, but seriously, 45 degree weather felt like great weather to go out and play in. Weird. Maybe I do have Danish Petersen blood in me after all!
FYI, the hottest it gets here, in the middle of the summer, is about 70 degrees. So if I waited until then to play outside with the kids we'd only get about a month or two of playing outside before we were stuck inside again. I have to adjust my life to this weather!

O my goodness, that's crazy! That's the weather we're having right now in Utah and it's FREEZING to me!!!! You really must be adjusting well. :) You need another trip to San Diego, I think.

Amy, I completely understand what you are saying. Today it was in the 70s and I decided to just tough it out and take my kids to the beach. No complaints from them or me either about the weather. I figure if they can't get used to 70 degree weather, then we are never going to get out of our house here in San Diego. We have to adjust our lives to this kind of weather.
Can I just say it, is Jacoby a nerd or what???
Way to go, Amy....I just got through looking once again at the wedding pictures, which should be blown up to 8 x 10's....they are to die for....and the ones of Burke with cake all over him made me laugh out loud....Dad and I love and miss you guys so much.
